Flex layout dashboards
Each visualization in your dashboard is stored in a container. You can resize and rearrange the containers in the dashboard to improve the layout. By default, dashboards use the flex layout. To toggle to the legacy layout, click Edit [note] → Options and select Use legacy layout. See Legacy dashboards .
The legacy layout has been deprecated and will be removed in future versions of Siren Investigate. |
Maximizing, stacking, moving, and resizing
Maximizing: To maximize a container, from the upper-right corner of the container frame, click the Maximize icon. To return the container to its normal size and position, click the icon again.
Stacking: You can move visualizations from one container to another. To stack visualizations, click the tab of a visualization and drag it to another container. Visualizations stacked in a container appear as tabs similar to a web browser.
Moving: To move a container, click the container and drag it to another location.
Resizing: To resize a container, click the bottom or rightmost border and drag to the preferred size.
Editing, removing, and persisting
To perform other updates on the containers, from the Options menu, select Edit [note] . This activates the editing buttons in the container’s toolbar.
Editing: In the upper-right corner of the container, click the pencil icon to open the configuration options of the visualization.
Removing: To remove an item from the dashboard, in the upper-right corner of the container or visualization tab, click X. Removing an item from a dashboard does not remove the saved visualization.
Persisting: Changes made to the dashboard are not automatically saved. You must click the save button. The save button appears when in edit mode only.
